Our team of health care superheroes at UPMC Shadyside earned a third Magnet Recognition Program® designation for nursing excellence last Friday. They celebrated with a small in-person celebration (with masks, but not capes) and a live broadcast for nurses and others to listen in. Magnet® is one of the highest achievements a hospital can attain in professional nursing, and to achieve it three times is truly super on this #NationalSuperheroDay.
