Part 2 of my Superman digital painting collage is done. Kirk Alyn was the first live action Superman, playing Superman in two 15 part movie serials for Columbia Pictures starting in 1948, 4 years prior to the television premiere of The Adventures of Superman with George Reeves. Kirk and his Superman costar Noel Neill, who played Lois Lane to Kirk’s Superman in 1948, also made cameo appearances in Superman: The Movie (1978) as Lois Lane’s parents riding on a train. part 3 coming soon… | Dave Sant
