What a year for whale encounters 🐋 12 months of whale sightings! I saw orcas from two different subspecies and three different populations, over 27 different humpback individuals, two grey whales, & had a fantastic day watching Pacific white-sided dolphins for 3 hours. With these encounters, over 43 were shore-based and 13 were from vessels. I saw roughly 171 different individual orcas.
