The Liberian National Football Team, known as the Lone Star, recently held an evening training session at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex in preparation for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers. It is a sad time for football in Liberia as members of SUP gathered in the compound of the LFA to stage a protest. According to SUP leaders, the current President of the LFA is a Nigerian citizen, therefore he does not deserve to lead Liberian football.
