The Nevada Northern Railway crosses U. S. Hwy 93 just outside of Ely. As you can see in the 93 is a major highway. Hwy 93 runs from the Canadian border almost all the way to the Mexican border. It is a heavily traveled route and one of the few railroad grade crossings on the entire highway is ours.
