Thousands of Hindu holy men are taking a dip in India's most sacred river Ganges since dawn on the first most significant bathing day of the Kumbh Mela festival (also known as Mahakumbh) in the northen city of Prayagraj. Tuesday's bathing spectacle comes on the second day of the Kumbh Mela which is held every 12 years.
