Say hello to Iganuk (‘beaver’ in Kiksht), who resides at the Museum! Wasq’u teacher Radine “Deanie” Johnson, who is speaking in this audio, is sharing how to pronounce the name of the beaver in our care, Iganuk, which also means beaver in the Kiksht language of her people. The Wasq’u Tribe is one of the three Tribes of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
