President Trump said that he will invite the Eagles to visit the White House after winning the Super Bowl over the Chiefs.

Though Trump's White House rescinded an invitation to the championship Eagles in 2018, officials say no formal invitation for 2025 was issued.

It's still not clear if the Philadelphia Eagles will be visiting the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win, but one Kansas City Chiefs player has already gotten to make the trip to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Harrison Butker was at the White House on Thursday where he got to visit with President Donald Trump.

Reports that the Eagles have declined a White House invitation are unsubstantiated. Trump announced Tuesday that he planned to formally invite the team for a White House visit, and no members of the Eagles ownership, front office, management, nor any players have publicly said the team has declined or will decline an invitation.

According to a report, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided if they're going to the White House. However, no official decision has been made.

"They'll be extended an invitation," Trump said in the Oval Office. "They deserve to be down here."

President Trump said Tuesday the Philadelphia Eagles will be invited to visit the White House soon following their win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

Maybe the Eagles will be going to the White House after all. That's because on Monday, the NFL Network reported, citing team sources, that the Super Bowl champion Eagles "would be honored to visit The White House" after conversations Monday.
