The first move made by the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency was bringing in Trendon Watford on a 2-year $5.3 million deal. Watford, a close friend of Sixers star Tyrese Maxey, is a versatile forward who can do so many different things on the floor and can move the Sixers in the right direction in the right role.

Trendon is a young, dynamic player with a unique skill set who fits nicely with what we’re trying to accomplish on both sides of the ball,” said Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey.
