Russia is engaged in a massive missile and drone attack targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure and explosions were occurring in cities across the country.

Russian missile attacks reported across Ukraine with power cuts declared in Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro and Donetsk regions.

This is the first time Russia has used its so-called Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile in combat. The launch also serves as a warning to the West.
