The Cubs defeated the Brewers in Game 1 of the doubleheader 6-4. Owen Caissie hit his first MLB home run and drove in three, and Willi Castro hit a three-run blast for his first Cubs homer. Daniel Palencia recorded his 17th save with a game-ending double play.

The Cubs rookie outfielder came through in a big way at the plate during Tuesday's 6-4 victory over the Brewers.

Caissie and utility man Willi Castro, whose first home run as a Cub accounted for three runs in the third inning, combined to drive in all six of the Cubs’ runs in Game 1. Caissie’s first major-league home run then came in the sixth inning, an opposite-field solo shot.
