This weekend, the Cougars head back out on the road and take a trip out west, taking on the Arizona State Sun Devils in Tempe. The matchup is the first time Houston takes a trip out to the desert in nearly 40 years, with the last time coming in 1989, which saw the Coogs victorious.

Arizona State football will be donning black-gold uniforms for its game against Houston on Saturday. ASU will wear gold pants with black jerseys that have gold-colored numbers. The helmets will be gold with a black pitchfork on the side. Wide receiver Jaren Hamilton served as the model for the look on ASU’s social media pages.

The Sun Devils will be without one of their best players for a Big 12 clash against Houston on Oct. 25 at Mountain America Stadium.

Seven UH players have been ruled out: wide receiver Stephon Johnson, who underwent season-ending surgery for a foot injury Wednesday, wide receiver Devan Williams, running back Stacy Sneed, wide receiver JayShon Ridgle, defensive lineman Quindario Lee, tight end Luke McGary and defensive back Kenzy West.

Pick OU: Over (45.5) Against the spread, Arizona State is 3-3-1 this season. As a 7-point or greater favorite, Arizona State has one win ATS (1-1) this season. Two of seven Arizona State games have hit the over this year. Houston is 5-2-0 against the spread this year.

While the Houston Cougars have sustained injuries in past weeks, the Arizona State Sun Devils could have some depth concerns this weekend.
