Following speculation of its wellbeing after its disappearance, one of Jackie and Shadow’s eaglets has died, Friends of Big Bear Valley confirmed Saturday.

Sandy Steer, Executive Director of Friends of Big Bear Valley said Friday morning that the nest view is obstructed by snow, saying all there is to do is watch and wait.
