Week Zero of college football is here. This is the start of a highly anticipated season for the Kansas Jayhawks.

Travis Goff can picture what it was like to watch Kansas football players spill into Memorial Stadium when he was first hired as their athletic director. It was just over five years ago, back when the Jayhawks were a college football laughingstock.

As an interesting aside, Ratcliffe Stadium, which Fresno State sold to the State Center Community College District in 1973 to help pay for its new facility, actually managed to host a series of rock concerts, including a 1983 performance by The Police with Thompson Twins, Oingo Boingo and The Fixx.
