Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has said Max Verstappen still intends to stay with the team for next year despite speculation about a move to Mercedes which would shake up Formula 1.

Jos Verstappen, the father of four-time Formula 1 champion Max, has hit back at recent claims regarding an exit clause in his son's Red Bull contract.

Max Verstappen, who is currently signed with Red Bull, is in talks with Mercedes over changing sides, according to The Guardian. The negotiations have reportedly intensified leading up to this weekend's British Grand Prix.
