A UFC veteran believes Tom Aspinall’s inexperience played a major role in his controversial loss after Ciryl Gane’s eye poke stoppage.

UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall requires further tests on his eye after his title defence at UFC 321 against Ciryl Gane ended as a no contest.

All is not lost, with Aspinall still able to call himself the undisputed heavyweight champ, but this will hurt - physically and mentally - as a repeat is set to be arranged.
