It’s been a crappy start to the weekend. The Yankees lost on Thursday because the pitching couldn’t hold it together, and lost last night because the offense couldn’t manage much of anything. The bare minimum for this four-game series is a split, but they’ll have to try and get that against a Cy Young contender.

The Red Sox have won two of the first four games of this important four-game set against the Yankees, who are now 1-7 vs. Boston in 2025.
