Pennsylvania Republican Sen. David McCormick is co-sponsoring a new bill that would permanently tighten restrictions of an emerging group of opioids, known as nitazenes, that are more potent than fentanyl.

A man has been charged with conspiracy to import a Class A drug, the National Crime Agency (NCA) said.
