Yelp's long-awaited Top 100 Restaurants of 2025 list finally dropped. Only a single Houston restaurant made the nationwide list. Yelp's annual list, in addition to restaurants, also reveals several food trends and their popularity in the U.

Engineer-turned-entrepreneur Sanad Al Souz launched The Good Salad in Santa Clara in 2021 as a takeout/delivery concept and has since expanded to Palo Alto and Campbell. The restaurant ranked No. 8 on the list.

Yelp released its annual list of the best U.S. restaurants. Seven Arizona spots made the cut, including one Valley eatery.

In October, the Chhoum family got the news that Yelp had named PHOnomenal No. 1 on its list of the top 25 pho spots in the U.S. And their happiness doubled on Wednesday, when the small shop was ranked No. 4 on Yelp’s annual Top 100 Places to Eat in 2025, a list that also includes seven other local restaurants.

Yelp tapped two restaurants from its San Francisco hometown: Japanese Izakaya Rintaro (82 14th St.) and Burma Superstar (309 Clement St.), ranked No. 93 and No. 94, respectively. Burma Superstar has the distinction of the most reviews in the entire list with 7,800 — and a formidable 4.2 rating after all that.
