Jayden Daniels suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s road game against the Dallas Cowboys and did not return. Backup Marcus Mariota relieved Daniels and finished 4-of-10 for 63 yards, an interception and 34 rushing yards in the 44-22 loss.

Brian Schottenheimer and the Dallas Cowboys got back on track in Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season after defeating Dan Quinn and NFC East rival Washington Commanders 44-22, jumping to 3-3-1 on the year. Dak Prescott had one of his better games of 2025, completing 21-of-30 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns.
As long as Dallas stays .500 (the Cowboys are 3-3-1) Prescott can't be MVP. But his numbers are impressive. He is completing 71.4% of his passes, he leads the league with 1,881 passing yards and he has 16 touchdowns against 3 interceptions.
