San Diego County leaders are considering boosting encampment sweeps on days when the threat of wildfires are especially high after several local blazes left the region on edge. A new wildfire was reported today at 1:55 p.m. in San Diego County. Penny Fire has been burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service. At this time, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.
