A 13-year-old girl in Texas allegedly bit a man twice after he allegedly attempted to kidnap her while she was on her walk to school, officials said.

Santa Rosa police arrested Richard Lund and Asia Morton in connection with the shooting death of Mark Calcagni, general manager of San Francisco's Condor Club.

Lyndhurst police were called to Aldi, 5144 Mayfield Road, where a 70-year-old man was seen stealing merchandise. When speaking with an officer, the man complained of chest pains and was taken to the hospital.

The report, part of an integrity inspection programme by HMICFRS, found that the force needed to "improve the way it handles and manages complaints and allegations of misconduct".
