Roadside Attractions has shared the official trailer for the Kiss of the Spider Woman movie, based on the Tony Award-winning stage musical by Terrence McNally, John Kander, and Fred Ebb. Following its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival,

The film's trailer above features Lopez letting loose in dazzling song and dance sequences, with Luna and Tonatiuh getting in on the action, too. However, while Kiss of the Spider Woman received mostly positive reviews out of its premiere at 2025's Sundance Film Festival, not every critic was impressed.

Based on the 1976 novel by Manuel Puig, the musical features a score by Kander and Ebb — the legendary duo behind Chicago and Cabaret — and a book by Tony Award winner Terrence McNally. It won seven Tonys including Best Musical and a trophy for star Chita Rivera, who originated the title role.
