A hiker and two young kids who were with them got lost while hiking a remote California trail — as temperatures started to drop, officials said. The trio was hiking the trail in Big Basin Redwoods State Park on Sunday, March 9, when they became lost, California Highway Patrol’s Golden Gate Air Operations said on Instagram.
