There is a heat wave sweeping across the United States this week and several states in particular are receiving a dire warning. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), residents in 24 states are under a heat advisory, meaning they have to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors and seek cool spaces – especially sensitive populations.
