LEHIGH TWP., Pa. — Police say a hiker that first responders were searching for on the Appalachian Trail has been found dead. The hiker was found in Northampton County near the Carbon County line.

City officials are warning residents about fraudulent emails targeting people who have applied for permits through Steamboat Springs’ Planning Department, according to a Thursday news release.
