HAZEL PARK, MI – A Texas woman died after her Jeep crashed into a gravel hauler and was pushed more than 750 feet on a Michigan highway. Michigan State Police in Detroit responded to the crash, which occurred on northbound I-75 near Woodward Heights at 6:40 a.m. on Thursday.

According to Michigan State Police, a Houston woman driving a Jeep Compass lost control and spun into the path of a gravel hauler. The hauler hit the Compass and pushed it about 750 feet before being able to stop. The 24-year-old driver of the Compass was pronounced dead at the scene, while the gravel hauler driver was not hurt.
