That’s not to say Kiper’s approach is wrong, because his mocks are always based in what he’s hearing in scouting circles — and truth be told, this tends to be more accurate in the end result than independent talent evaluators.

Even though conventional wisdom suggests the Las Vegas Raiders will draft Shedeur Sanders if the opportunity presents itself, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has the Colorado star ending up slightly lower in the 2025 draft.
