On Saturday, February 22, officials arrested a man wanted in Maryland after a high-speed chase on I-40 westbound in Lonoke County.

Arkansas State Police are investigating an inmate’s death at the Cummins Unit prison. Authorities said prison staff responded to a reported disturbance around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday and found 31-year-old Dionte Gurley and another inmate in the middle of a fight.
