Now, Instagram is offering a new option — a Reels template for users to create their 2022 Recap and share it with their friends. It's a fairly painless process.

The 2022 recap reels feature is Instagram's contribution to social media's year-in-review industrial complex.

To create your reel, all you have to do is wait until the "Create your 2022 recap reel" banner shows up on your homepage, or go to reels and select any of the recap templates.

Instagram lets you create your own 2022 Recap Reel Select at least three photos or videos and the app will automatically combine them into a Reel.

How to record and post an Instagram Reel Open the Instagram app and navigate to your feed or your profile page. Tap the New post icon at the top of the screen.
