According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers responded to the 0-100 Block of Blake Hill Street for a shot spotter activation. Walsh said one victim has serious injuries while the other is expected to be okay. The shooting is being investigated by the Springfield Police Department’s Detective Bureau.

Springfield police are investigating a shooting and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-car crash around Southern and Johnny Lytle avenues on the south side of Springfield on Tuesday morning.

Three people were arrested Tuesday and another fled police after a shots-fired incident in south Springfield led to a police pursuit and then a multi-vehicle crash on the city’s east side.

Devin J. Lewis, of Springfield, suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound during the incident, according to law enforcement sources.
