What a potential deal between PGA Tour Enterprises and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund looks like is still anyone's best guess, but LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil only sees a potential agreement as a positive.

Scott O'Neil, the new CEO of LIV Golf, shared his opinion regarding the negotiations before the start of LIV Adelaide, stressing that PIF could make interesting investments. "They (PIF) are likely to make an investment into PGA Tour Enterprises, a new structure that a collection of US investors invested in," O'Neil said, as quoted by France 24.

The Australian leg of LIV Golf has set the benchmark for the breakaway golf league, according to its new global chief executive, who is on a mission to attract more corporate sponsors and secure more television deals in a bid to replicate the success of the local tournament in other parts of the world.
