For the first time in school history, TCU has secured an NCAA national championship in beach volleyball. The Horned Frogs accomplished the feat Sunday, taking down Loyola Marymount by a 3-2 score in Gulf Shores, Alabama. With the victory, TCU broke a string of Southern California-based dominance in the sport.

TCU is making history today by advancing to its first national championship in beach volleyball to win the school's potential sixth overall national championship.

TCU won its first-ever beach volleyball championship, defeating Loyola Marymount 3-2 in the title matches. This was the first time in NC beach volleyball history that UCLA or Southern Cal did not take home the trophy.
