Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for two areas of Michigan, both calling for some heavy snow and possibly difficult travel conditions on the roads. These two advisory areas are also hundreds of miles apart and have different timing, so let’s separate it out for you here:

So far, snowfall totals showed an accumulation of 4.4 inches in White Lake Township in Oakland County, where weather services are located, 3.6 inches at Detroit Metro Airport in Romulus in Wayne County, and 6 inches in Grand Blanc in Genesee County.

Snow is slowly starting to pile up in Southeast Michigan this weekend as multiple systems move through the area.
