Honda has revealed the new Activa e:, its first-ever electric scooter for India. This is what you need to know.

While the Honda QC 1 has been specifically developed for India, the Honda Activa e has been developed for India and other emerging markets.

Price, range, features, specs in images Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India today revealed two new electric scooters in the Indian market - Activa e: and QC1. This marks a significant step in the company’s strategy to tap into the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) segment in India.

The all-new Honda Activa e: comes with a pair of 1.5kWh swappable batteries, which can be swapped out at Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger e: battery swapping stations. Meanwhile, QC1 comes with a fixed battery setup.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India introduces ACTIVA e: and QC1 electric scooters, focusing on sustainable mobility and market expansion.

The company has not revealed the price range of the latest offering as yet. It will reveal the related details at the start of next year.

Honda QC1 will be initially available in select cities from February 2024 and will be offered with 3 years or 50,000 km warranty along with three free services for the first year.
