Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track for a console release in the fall of this year, and a PC version of the game is still firmly in the realm of wishful thinking. So as you can imagine, there was a collective gasp of hope when Corsair Gaming vice president of finance and investor relationship Ronald van Ween mentioned a not-too-distant PC launch during the company's recent quarterly financial call.

Rockstar Games has just announced plans to release a major free update for the PC version of GTA 5. Launching on March 4, the PC update will introduce a ton of enhancements to GTA 5, giving the game the kind of next-gen makeover previously only available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Corsair's VP of finance has said during an earnings call that he believes Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on PC, and it's not one whole year later.

In a move that might make old-school GTA fans cringe, Rockstar Games is apparently looking at turning Grand Theft Auto 6 into a Roblox-inspired Metaverse.

Will GTA 6 be available for PC just a few months after hitting consoles? Corsair CEO Andy Paul seems to think so.

The only official content we've had from Rockstar Games itself so far is the first, and so far only, trailer for GTA 6 in December 2023 and there has not been any update from the studio about it since.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be released for consoles later this year. In typical Rockstar Games fashion, the PC release is still unknown. Traditionally, the studio will port their games to PC one-to-two years later.
