Eze has undergone a medical with Arsenal and an official announcement of a £67.5million deal is expected imminently. A mural of Eberechi Eze painted on a wall near the Emirates Stadium ahead of his imminent transfer to Arsenal from Crystal Palace has been defaced after vandals hurled white paint across it. It is believed Tottenham fans are the culprits after the Gunners' £67.

David Ornstein has now revealed that Tottenham were actually ready to increase their offer to the release clause value after finding out that Arsenal were attempting a hijack. Unfortunately for them, it was too late, as the Gunners were prepared to match that, and Eze chose Arsenal over Spurs.
