American Airlines will use larger jets for its midday flights between Erie and Charlotte, North Carolina, beginning this fall. The 72-seat Bombardier CRJ900 jets will begin local service in November. The planes have 60 coach seats and 12 first-class seats.
American Airlines is adding a new nonstop flight between Charlotte and Palm Springs International Airport, the California airport announced Monday. The seasonal service will run on Saturdays from Dec. 20 through April 18, 2026. Flights will operate on a 172-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
