Unacademy has acquired test prep startup Gate Academy for an undisclosed amount, bringing on board founder Umesh Dhande and absorbing entire team.

Answering about Unacademy’s acquisitions, Munjal said that the startup acquires other companies mostly to build teams and for growth.
