The prestigious sports analysis company Opta has revealed its prediction for the final Premier League standings, delivering surprising results that, if confirmed, would mark a changing of the guard in English football.

"If they beat Aston Villa and Real Madrid and start to turn a corner then yes it was the right choice," said Warnock on BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast. "If they don't and things continue, then Liverpool fans will get a little bit disgruntled and start to ask questions about why so many changes.

All eyes this weekend will of course be on Liverpool as their poor form continues, following a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the League Cup.
