With the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Truck Series both underway, next up is the beginning of the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series. It's the 114th official championship season of American open wheel racing, and the 30th season under IndyCar Series sanction. Its showcase each year, of course, is the Indianapolis 500.

Unfortunately, the drama of who will take home the series championships has been put to bed. Two weeks ago, Alex Palou scored enough points to clinch a third consecutive IndyCar title. He became the first driver since Dario Franchitti in 2011 to win an American open-wheel championship three years in a row.
