Ridge-riding storms set to hammer soaked Northern Tier with renewed flood threat extending into Northeast
A stormy stretch is setting up across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including the increased threat of severe storms capable of destructive winds, large hail and perhaps a tornado or two.
Forecasters agree any storm activity will likely hold off until around 2 p.m, then ramp up as we head into the evening.
