Shohei Ohtani hits three home runs and pitches six shutout innings as the Dodgers defeat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-1 in Game 4 of the NLCS to advance to the World Series.

Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Dodgers captured the National League pennant and finished a sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night, winning NLCS Game 4, 5-1. It's the Dodgers' fifth NL pennant since 2017, and it came as Ohtani delivered the best individual performance in MLB playoff history.

Freddie Freeman has been held relatively in check. Yet the Dodgers are one game away from a return trip to the World Series. They once again beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-1, and can complete the four-game sweep Friday night at Dodger Stadium.

Roki Sasaki oversees a 1-2-3 ninth inning as the Dodgers defeat the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1 in Game 3 of the NLCS to take a 3-0 series lead.

The Brewers never mustered any offense over four games, scoring just one run per contest in an NLCS sweep at the hands of the Dodgers.

With their backs against the wall, the Milwaukee Brewers face the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, Oct. 17 in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series. With a loss, the 2025 season comes to an end. With a win, the Brewers buy themselves at least one more day.
