We have made it through yet another awesome college football Saturday. After a week that included huge upsets in which Miami and Texas Tech both suffered their first losses of the season, football fans can hardly wait for the action to continue as we barrel towards Week 9.
BYU remained unbeaten after defeating Iowa State 41-27. The No. 11-ranked Cougars improved to 8-0 and are still tied atop the Big 12 standings (5-0) with Cincinnati after overcoming a 14-point deficit in the first half.

Two top 25 teams played on Friday night. No. 2 Miami (FL) hosted Louisville in an ACC game, and No. 25 Nebraska traveled to take on Minnesota in a Big Ten Conference showdown. Surprisingly, both teams suffered losses in a pair of big upsets in Week 8.
