NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Audubon Zoo is roar-ing with excitement for the arrival of some new friends. Three African lion cubs, two girls and one boy, were born on Oct. 19 to parents Kali and Arnold.
The zoo emphasized that Africa’s lion population has declined by half in the past 25 years due to poaching and habitat loss New cubs have taken their place in the circle of life at a New Orleans zoo.
