Nashville, Tennessee, reportedly is making a play to host WWE WrestleMania for the first time in the history of the event.

WWE is close to announcing a host city for WrestleMania 44 in 2028.

However, that hasn't deterred the city from trying. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer (via Sports Illustrated) reports that Nashville put in a $3.5 million bid to host WrestleMania in 2028. Additionally, WWE would receive “tax breaks” if they take this offer.
