An initiative that supports our nation's heroes was able to do something that it's never done before thanks to donors' contributions. Wreaths Across America places what it calls remembrance wreaths on veterans' headstones at participating veterans cemeteries.

The Wreaths Across America “Escort to Arlington" will make a special stop at the Wells Junior High School on Route 1.

Here in Houston, the mission continues strong. Scott DeMasi and U.S. Army Veteran Mike Jameson, both with Wreaths Across America-Houston, are leading the charge to bring this heartfelt tradition to life.

PERRY TWP. – Anyone wanting to sign on to honor deceased U.S. military veterans over the holidays can do so by teaming with a pair of local civic organizations.

The wreath-laying ceremony will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 14. According to organizers, MNVM will join more than 3,700 other locations across the country for the annual event. Its mission is to “remember,

VERNON, Texas (KAUZ) - Wreaths across America will visit Vernon’s Eastview Cemetery on Dec. 14 for a wreath-laying event. Each veteran’s grave will receive a wreath, and the veteran’s name will be spoken out loud. So far, 260 of the groups goal of 1,700 wreaths have been sponsored.

Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens will be participating in Wreaths Across America later this month and is inviting the community to come together to honor those who served and learn about the value of freedom.
