William Contreras delivered his first career walk-off homer as the major league-leading Brewers overcame a pair of solo home runs from Willy Adames in his return to Milwaukee.

Willy Adames held his helmet above his head as he stood near home plate and acknowledged the ovation he was given by Milwaukee Brewers fans at American Family Field. He then gave Brewers catcher and former teammate William Contreras a hug and nodded in the direction of starting pitcher Jose Quintana.

With two outs in the ninth inning on Friday night, the Milwaukee Brewers led the Giants 4-3 with the No. 9 hitter coming up. It was as good a spot as any to wrap up the win, but in an 0-1 count, closer Trevor Megill threw a wild pitch to bring in the tying run.
