Thousands have filed reports relating to a phishing scam in the form of text messages stating that you have unpaid toll tags.
That text message claiming you owe a TxTag late fee? It's a scam.
"TxTag does not send emails or text messages to customers regarding balances due," the state agency said. You should ignore the text messages.
