A walk-through on Sunset Boulevard on Thursday in downtown Palisades revealed a tiny microcosm of the havoc the Los Angeles wildfires have wreaked.

Firefighters used a bulldozer to clear abandoned cars and make way for fire trucks and crew as Palisades Fire continued to rage in the area.

Fire officials moved approximately 30 abandoned vehicles on roadways to clear a way through as people fled the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles.
